Kevin L. Schewe, M.D., is a board-certified radiation oncologist and Fellow of the American College of Radiation Oncology and has devoted over 32 years in the fight against cancer. Best known for his innovative and successful implementation of the newest treatment techniques utilized in the field of radiation oncology, Dr. Schewe is regarded as an influential leader in cancer treatment.
Dr. Schewe graduated cum laude from the University of Missouri-Columbia in Columbia, Missouri, where he received both undergraduate and medical degrees. He then attended the Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals, where he completed both his internship and residency training in radiation oncology.
He is co-founder of Red Rocks Medical Center and founder of Alliance Cancer Care Colorado at Red Rocks in Golden, Colorado, where he serves as Medical Director. He sub specializes in breast cancer treatment, head and neck cancers and using stereotactic treatment techniques for lung, liver, bone and brain tumors. He implemented the Sensus SRT skin cancer treatment program in January 2016, becoming the first center in Colorado to use Sensus technology. He has now successfully treated over 700 skin cancers, giving these patients the opportunity to be cured of their skin cancers without surgery or scars.
